Thousands of demonstrators including teachers, students, faculty members, and supporters marched across Oakland descending upon Frank H. Ogawa Plaza on Feb. 21, 2019 to demand an increase in teacher pay, smaller classes, and more support staff from the city’s resource-tight school district.
